I picked this vertical grip over the RVG because of the clean look when mounted. I was worried it might not mount as solidly as the RVG, but thankfully I was completely wrong! It is a very solid, like grip that works great with a traditional grip and even better with the thumb break method. The side textures also offer a tacky gripping surface. Unlike some grips, the weight added is negligible. Installation can be difficult if done by yourself, but certainly not impossible. You lose some re saleability with the MVG since it only works with the MOE handguards, but it integrates so seamlessly I wouldn't go with anything else now that I have it installed. And lastly, its Magpul! They make fantastic gear at a great price!
